Extreme
circumstances call for extreme measures.
Our city and region desperately hungers
for justice, mercy, and redemption.
That's why we are calling all believers
to unite in prayer and worship during
our 4th Regional Prayer Vigil Prayer,
Friday September 26. Prayer is violence
against prevailing darkness, making room
for God's liberating power to fall down
on us. Other pastors and churches in our
region will be joining to acknowledge
together God's faithfulness and ask for
God's salvation to rescue our neighbors,
friends, and loved ones. Join the troops
this 26th, and help turn the tides of
injustice with childlike and hungering
faith. Your children will have an active
part in this strategic time. They will
be well guided into effective
intercession and adoration. Light
refreshments will be served twice during
the 12-hour vigil spree. Please bring
sleeping bags and pillows for kids that
may be too young to engage throughout. A
special resting section will be
designated to our little warriors.
Through creative expressions of worship
and genuine relationships, adults, youth
and children of all ages have the
opportunity to pursue this life giving
relationship with Christ and encounter
God in a personal way.
